A customer sent us pictures of the gorgeous displays she created with Twisted Willow Branches and fresh flowers. A while back we had a post on combining dried branches with fresh flowers. When using dried branches, you really should keep them dry. To combine them with fresh flowers, the options include using floral tubes, or nesting a smaller vase inside a larger vase. That latter technique was used in these displays. Beautiful!

Hi, I know this is an old post, but can you estimate how many branches she ordered and how tall the vase was? And which willow branches are those exactly?
Hi - That's Twisted Willow which has been discontinued. It looks like 14-16 branches were used. A great alternative would be the Fresh Curly Willow - http://www.nettletonhollow.com/Fresh-Curly-Willow-Branches-Red-p/curly-willow-branches-fresh-r.htm
The vase appears to be 14-18" tall, and 3-4" diameter. Let us know if you have any more questions! - Justin
