We recently added dyed and preserved Magnolia Leaves to our selection of items. These leathery leaves are a classic for wreaths and garlands, and can make neat place cards too. Here's how.
1. Get your supplies - Magnolia Leaves, 4 x 6 index cards (or fancy cardstock if you're so inclined). metallic paint markers, a stapler, and a black marker.
2. Write the name or message on the Magnolia Leaf.
3. Fold the index card into quarters so it makes a stiff L.
4. Staple your folded index card to the back of the Magnolia Leaf. While you could probably use glue, the stapler works great and without any fuss or mess. However, you are left with a pretty obvious staple on the face of the Magnolia Leaf.
Voila, a quick, easy and unique place card!
