New UPS Transit Time Map

We discovered yesterday that our UPS Transit Time Map was out of date - the range for 1, 2 and 3 business day delivery has greatly expanded. Now a package that took 3 days to get to Chicago, Athens, Memphis or Lexington, KY will take 2 business days, which seems absolutely spectacular given the low cost (and the size of our boxes). We are particularly happy that Chicago is now included in the 2 business day range. Unfortunately, there wasn't much expansion of the 1 business day range - the southern boundary still looks like the Potomac - sorry folks over in Alexandria, VA. Here is the old map, which we thought was pretty spectacular.

Overall, we are extremely happy with UPS Ground. A very small percentage of boxes are delayed, damaged or lost and the cost and speed is spectacular. Our one gripe with them is that they have yet to extend their efficiency gains to their refund process if something does go wrong. You don't have to worry about this though! We take your word for it if a package is damaged or lost and promptly issue the refund or send the replacement.
