Alicia Arnold of Facets Fine Jewelry used our Hanging Amaranthus and Mossy Sticks to create some gorgeous window displays in her store and sent us these photos.
Facets Fine Jewelry is located at 4530 Lee Hwy, Arlington, VA 22207 (703 527 4247).
The Hanging Amaranthus is surprisingly pliable and resilient and doesn't require any special care. One thing is that when you work with it, it sheds some of the very fine bits of the flower.
We don't have a storefront in NY, but this item ships from Brooklyn - the transit time is just one business day and the cost is typically less than a cab ride!
These are dried, dyed and preserved - as with all of our items you definitely DO NOT want to get them wet. As for sunlight, the less exposure the better, as sunlight will cause the color to fade over time.
Nettleton Hollow is a leading provider of high-quality decorative branches and other lasting botanical material, based in Brooklyn, NY. Here is where we tell you a bit more about the products and other vaguely related topics. For the main site, visit http://www.nettletonhollow.com.
The first of three sons of a dairy farmer and the only one who didn't go into the family business. I founded Nettleton Hollow in 2004, and launched the site in March 2005. Nettleton Hollow is named after a road on which I spent many summers as a kid herding cows.

The Amaranthus is beautiful...how difficult is it to care for?

Justin, does that mean it doesn't need watering (or spritzing), sunlight, etc?
